- Angel Technologies – It is a privately –held wireless communication company using proprietary High Altitude Long Operation (HALO) aircraft to deliver service worldwide.
- Aero Vironment – It has teamed up with NASA on a solar power unnamed plan.
- Sky Station International – It is planning for a similar thing using blimps instead of planes.
